Guestbook - Agriturismo Santa Maria

It is with such great regret that I haven't taken the time to write before now. The memories of our family's retreat at Cerreto , last Summer, are with me always. Shortly after the terrible loss of our father, our mother did an extraordinary thing: she rented a farmhouse in Umbria for her twelve (12) adult children, and their children, and whoever else we invited. Having never left the US herself, and with no intention of doing so (nor had our father), what a surprise this was!! (She would not join us.) Cerreto could not have been more welcoming, beautiful, comfortable, private, relaxing and a hell of a lot of fun! Daniel, Rosario and the boys added what can only be described as the perfect addition to our family! Renting a van in Perugia is a great idea and we took day trips to Assisi, Orvieto - everywhere. The view from my private room was overlooking the most amazing medieval village, surrounded by fields of sunflowers. The salt-water pool (with bar and kitchen) provided all of us with afternoons of laughter, splashes and memories to last a lifetime. Michael, the eldest, gave all of us a most special gift the following Christmas: a DVD of the Breault's in Cerreto! It is one of the most cherished things I possess and I consider myself among the blessed to have spent my weeks with family and loved ones in this most beautiful home. Rosario is forever in my heart. E' stata un'esperienza fantastica all'agriturismo Santa Maria, consiglio a tutti di venire in questo luogo piacevolissimo dove mi sono rilassato nel verde. Un soggiorno bellissimo anche per via dell'accoglienza dei padroni che mi hanno trattato come un membro della famiglia e mi hanno fatto sentire a casa, di sicuro tornero ancora

WE had a magic time at Santa Maria staying in our own apartment in Cerreto Alto. Daniel and Rosaria and the boys treated us as family and our son adored living near the sheep and chickens!It was a beautiful,quiet spot surrounded by Olive trees and a great base for touring - we would recommend it to anyone.

L'agriturismo si trova in un luogo incantevole, i proprietari Rosaria e Daniel sono cordiali ed ospitali, consiglio a tutti calorosamnete un soggiorno presso di loro.
